Happy Mondays is building a new kind of early-years ecosystem that recognises that modern families don’t fit neatly into traditional childcare or rigid work structures.
Instead of launching everything at once, Happy Mondays is designed to grow in clear, thoughtful stages. Building trust, learning from families, and strengthening our foundations.
Phase 1: Pilot Play Lab (Now)
Learn, test, and build community. Build the infrastructure for scale and regulation - focusing on parent experience, child wellbeing and operational rhythms. Community-led feedback to shape the model. Strengthening policies and procedures for Ofsted readiness.
Phase 2: Ofsted Registered (2027)
Unlock access, funding, and wider impact. Ofsted-registered early years provision, applying eligibility for funded hours (where applicable). Expanded session options and clear pathways for parents who want more regular care and longer-term consistency.
Phase 3: Scaling (2028+)
Broader reach, deeper impact,
purpose-designed spaces combining childcare, coworking, community programming.
Partnerships with employers. local authorities, family-focused organisations. A model that can expand to new locations, without losing its values.
