Policy Statement
Happy Mondays is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and secure environment for all children, parents, staff, and visitors. We recognise our duty of care to protect everyone on site from avoidable harm and to manage risk responsibly while maintaining a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Health and safety is a shared responsibility and forms part of everyday practice at Happy Mondays.
This policy applies to: All Play Lab sessions, Co-working spaces, Shared and transition areas, Staff, contractors, parents, and visitors.
The policy reflects the parent-present, short-session, play-based care model.

Safe Use of The Space
Special care is taken where Playlab and co-working spaces interact. Includes: clear boundaries between zones, noise and distraction management, safe movement of parents and children.

Accidents, Incidents & First Aid
A first aid kit is accessible on site. At least one trained first aider is present during Playlab sessions. All accidents and incidents are recorded and parents are informed promptly
Serious incidents are escalated appropriately.
All hazards or concerns must be reported immediately to staff and logged/addressed.
